Thu, 11 May 2006 DJ Chester Chomp returns with the younglings for another hour of music and mayhem. Moe and Kimmy Showgirl from the Kimmy and Claire Show help Chester present the announcements. Since they are only in the second grade, some of the words are a little difficult to pronounce. Chomp lends a helping hand, only to get screamed at for his poor reading skills. Russ the Weatherguesser shows up late, (like a true superstar) and tries to explain why we are getting snow in May. This is difficult given the girls have both hands wrapped around his Weatherguessing neck! Russ also brings us a movie review of Chicken Little. Kimmy and Moe think that movie reviews are a great idea and want to get in on the action, but oh so sorry...too late! Music by Rebecca St. James, Imogen Heap, Natasha Bedingfield, Olive, Ride, The Cure, St. Etienne, The Communards and Shaggy. All music licensed through ASCAP or directly by the composer. Thu, 4 May 2006 DJ Chester Chomp finally gets his act together in producing the show, which required him to remember to bring his power cord for the laptop. Talk about commitment to "Total Quality Management." In this episode, Chomp, Russ the Weatherguesser, Kimmy Showgirl and Moe (aka Clairebear) all give Buzzkill a big send-off, World of Sound style. Buzzkill will be studying for the next three weeks in China. (Yes, that's the People's Republic of China, Mr. President.) Buzzkill makes the fatal mistake of flashing his travel cash in the studio. The younglings quickly overpower Buzzkill, fleece him, and then steal his car to use as their getaway vehicle. Music by Prince and the Revolution, T'Pau, Propellerheads feat. Shirley Bassey, Antal Dorati, Public Enemy, Eagles, Public Image Ltd., Rob Dougan and The Ramones. All music licensed through ASCAP or directly from the composer. **NOTE - Mistake!!! DJ Chester Chomp was incorrect when he indicated that it is OK to burn CDs of World of Sound. After contacting ASCAP, he learned that COSLC would need to obtain a seperate "Mechanical License" to permit burning of the show onto a CD. At this time COSLC does not have such a license. Listen to corrected information on the May 17, 2006 podcast.**Comments[0] |
